Warranty Terms: ANY CONTRACT BETWEEN ANY THIRD PARTY AND COCOPLUM AERO SERVICES, LLC WITH OR WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGING//CONFIRMATION DUE TO THEIR DISREGARD/LAXNESS/ NEGLECTFULNESS IS SUBJECT TO ALL OF THE FOLLOWING UNDER WARRANTY PAGE VIA THIS WEBSITE NO EXCEPTIONS EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED UNLESS UNDER SIGNED/EXECUTED CONTRACT INKED BY BOTH PARTIES INCLUDING WHERE DEPOSITS ARE MADE THOSE WOULD BE NON-REFUNDABLE NO EXCEPTIONS EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED UNLESS UNDER SIGNED/EXECUTED CONTRACT INKED BY BOTH PARTIES ON SAME PAPERWORK/CONTRACT/DOCUMENT. MOREOVER IF INVOICE PROVIDED BY COCOPLUM AERO SERVICES, LLC HAS BEEN PROVIDED AND PAID FOR BUYERS ARE SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS ALREADY MENTIONED AND AS FOLLOWS NO EXCEPTIONS EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED AS THEIR/BUYERS DISREGARD/LAXNESS/NEGLECTFULNESS TO OUR TERMS/CONDITIONS ARE NOT OF COCOPLUM AERO SERVICES, LLC RESPONSIBILITY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE/INSTANCE EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

 

Any item nonconformity shall be reported to Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. (hereinafter described as “Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC.”) in writing, within five (5) calendar days from Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. shipping date. After the fifth day all sales shall be deemed final and no returns shall be accepted and transaction shall be deemed closed and completed.

 

Upon exchange, all transactions will be receiving a bill back required for overhaul/repair services. Charges for overhaul/repair services will be performed by a Cocoplum Aero approved vendor and are automatically billed via credit card(s) on file from previous orders whose fees are not returnable under any circumstances. Core(s) received that do not match supplied LRU part number/mfg/service bulletin/SIL/Software Levels would be charged additional fees to bring core up to current airworthiness standards.

 

Cores not provided within 15 days will be charged the outright core fee, no exceptions with automatic billing to credit card on file. If a 2nd core were to be provided under discretion and acceptance of Cocoplum Aero Services and additional evaluation fees will apply. no exceptions either expressed or implied.

 

Units under warranty consideration that are no fault found/no trouble found will be billed to the credit card on file, no exceptions. Due to the confidential nature of our business we do not disclose. We will not disclose proprietary documentation under any circumstances due to vendor/client privilege being Cocoplum Aero Services and repair station utilized.

 

If within the time provided, Customer shall, at their own expense, return the item(s) to Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC, no later than five (5) days after reporting the item nonconformity to Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. in writing. All item(s) returned in a timely manner, shall be in the original wrapper/box/shipping material. If the original wrapper/box/ shipping materials are damaged the return shall not be accepted and Customer shall be responsible for all shipping costs to recover its item(s) along with a recertification fee to establish continued airworthiness of the article and public trust.

 

Restocking Fee: There shall be a Fifty percent restocking fee of the outright value or$499.00 whichever is greater applied to all accepted returned items.

 

Recertification Fee: Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. will apply a recertification fee of $499.00 or greater depending on the complexity of the article, to any authorized returned item regardless of use.

 

SPECIAL ORDER and AIRCRAFT ON GROUND (A.O.G.) ITEMS: Special order items and A.O.G. items, and fees are not returnable under any circumstances. Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. shall assess a $499.00 minimum cost or greater depending on the complexity of the article to the customer for any warranty work performed where no defects are found and no repairs are necessary for the item to be used for its intended purpose. This Warranty shall not cover: (1) Bench Check; (2)Alignment; (3) Defects or damages caused by unauthorized service; (4) Damages or malfunctions caused by negligence, abuse, or use not in accordance with intended function of the item; (5) New Equipment (Customer shall ship the item directly to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for warranty consideration, at no cost to Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC.); (6) Corrupt boot and/or OPS/kernel software from failed field load attempts. Tampering with warranty seals will void any and all warranties, with any transaction type, no exceptions.

 

Warranty shall cover: Sales Unit(s): If Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. sells you a unit the following will apply: * Unit(s) sold AR sales are final no returns: * Unit(s) with inspected tags: These units DO NOT carry any type of warranty. Units sold from Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. are guaranteed to function and operate. Issues of functionality of the unit upon install can be returned or replaced under warranty. Units purchased and sent for recertification will void the warranty given by Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. and this goes for repaired and overhauled units as well. * Unit(s) with repaired tags: These units carry Ninety (90) days of warranty from Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. shipping date to customer. * Unit(s) with overhaul tags: These units carry One Hundred And Eighty (180) days of warranty from Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. from shipping date to customer.

 

CORE RETURNS 1) Customer exchange cores are to be returned to Cocoplum Aero within 15 calendar days if no core is received within the 15 calendar days the core charge will be billed and paid immediately and the transaction will be considered closed. All cores are subject to Cocoplum inspection, evaluation and acceptance, cores must be economically repairable at 30% of current used market value. In the event that a core has parts obsolescence issues or is deemed beyond economical repair it will be billed at current OEM Catalog Price. Cocoplum Aero may take up to 90 days to accept your core, any and all discrepancies must be reported in writing before 5 days, after 5 days all transactions are final and non-returnable, non[1]refundable., any and all warranties will be null and void if any of the seals are tampered, damaged, voided or removed. In the event that an original exchange unit(s) is being returned it will be at the discretion of Cocoplum Aero and are subject to a restocking fee of 50% of the exchange price or $200.00 usd. whichever is greater and In addition to the restocking fee a recertification fee will apply in order to confirm continued airworthiness of the article being returned and in the interest of air safety this is strictly enforced.

 

CORE REQUIREMENTS This policy is based on the return of commercially repairable core. Cores must be the same model/mfg./part number/service bulletin/SIL/ and software levels as the one provided or additional fees will be charged to configure the core to acceptable regulatory and airworthiness standards. Cores with parts obsolescence, misconfiguration by part number or any other airworthiness or beyond economical repair will be rejected. (see Core Returns for more details)

 

TRACEABILITY REQUIREMENTS All cores must be accident/incident free and free from fire/extreme heat, fresh/salt/water/acid immersion and have a legible data, service bulletin and software level identification plates. Traceability must be to an FAA approved source, NO exceptions see FAA AC20-62E (latest revision for details) core units must come directly from the operator's aircraft., Any signs of field or shop repair attempts will be automatically rejected. Any and all relevant evaluation fees of the original core will still apply.

 

EXCHANGE BILLING The customer will be charged a flat rate exchange as quoted by Cocoplum Aero for each exchange transaction. The customer will also be advised of a core charge, This core charge amount above and beyond the flat will be owed by the customer if the core is not returned or if the returned core is unacceptable. The core charge will be credited to the customer upon receipt of core. If the cost to repair the core exceeds 70% of the flat rate exchange price, it is agreed that the customer will be billed an additional exchange fee equaling the difference charge and 70% of the exchange price. If the additional exchange fee exceeds or equals the core charge or the parts needed to repair the core are no longer available, the core will be deemed beyond economical repair and the core will be billed back to the customer at the original core charge amount.

 

Customer Serviced Unit(s): If the customer sends an LRU to Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. for service, then the following will apply: * Unit(s) with inspected tags: These units DO NOT carry any type of warranty. * Unit(s) with serviceable tags: These units carry One Hundred and Eighty (180) days of warranty from Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. service completion date, or 1,000 hours, whichever comes first – Limited to the parts replaced on the shop visit and work scope.* Unit(s) with overhaul tags: These units carry Three hundred and sixty-five (365)days of warranty from Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. service completion date or 2,000 hours, whichever occurs first – Limited to the parts replaced on the shop visit and work scope. (1) Acceptance of goods and/or repairs covered by this service quote constitutes an agreement to pay reasonable collection and attorney’s fees if this account is not paid in full by the due date. A 1.5% finance charge shall be added per month to all past due invoices. Customer expressly submits and consents to the jurisdiction and venue in Miami-Dade County, State of Florida, and agrees that such state court shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction in any case of dispute or controversy arising hereunder or by any reason thereof. (2) All quote(s) shall be approved by the Customer within ten (10) calendar days. If the quote(s) is not approved, Customer hereby agrees to pay Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC., a $499.00 USD bench check/diagnostic/inspection/evaluation fee (“Work”) on Customer’s Line Replaceable Units (“LRU’s”). Customer hereby acknowledges and agrees that Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. must perform minor alterations on the LRU’s to complete the Work and thus, the Work shall be deemed an alteration and upon the issuance of the Work invoice, shall be deemed to have been completed in accordance with Florida Statute §83.031(2). (3) If the timely approval is not received, Customer’s LRU’s shall be returned unrepaired with Customer responsible for all return shipping costs and expenses which shall be paid by Customer at the time of delivery. If a return shipment is refused by Customer a $50.00 storage fee per day shall apply and Customer’s account shall be placed on “cash in advance” only. Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. shall not be responsible for any equipment left over Thirty (30) days. Due to regulatory, liability and licensing reasons, Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. shall not accept Customer supplied parts. Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. not provide repair and hold and/or quote and hold service. Any deviation or modification from these terms and conditions must be approved in writing by an authorized Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC Company principal and signed by all interested parties. Interest shall accrue on all outstanding invoices at the rate of 1.5% per month. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY, THIS SERVICE QUOTE SHALL BE DEEMED A TENTATIVE PROPOSAL AND SHALL NOT BE DEEMED AN AUTHORIZED QUOTE AND/OR A BINDING AGREEMENT, UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE SERVICE QUOTE IS DULY EXECUTED AND DATED BY BOTH THE CUSTOMER AND COCOPLUM AERO SERVICES, LLC. AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE AND THE FULLY EXECUTED AUTHORIZED QUOTE IS THEREAFTER FURNISHED TO Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC AND/OR CUSTOMER BY THE OTHER PARTY.

 

Third Party Serviced Components: If a unit is serviced/or sold by/with an OEM or a third party repair station, the customer will be subject to OEM and/or third party policies Terms and Conditions which Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC under any circumstance Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC is not obligated/responsible to resolute finically or out of good will whichever instance that would have to be communicated/worked out with repair station noted on certificate and buyer of product financially or out of goodwill as Cocoplum Aero Services is not responsible to assist financially or assist in resolving instance under any circumstance whatsoever. COCOPLUM AERO SERVICES, LLC. will not be responsible for freight charges or recertification fees if any. (1) Tampered void seals; (2) Foreign particle contamination or water intrusion; (3) Improper installation; (4) Faulty peripherals, and/or defective aircraft installation; (5) Excessive wear and tear, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper storage, improper handling, or installation and/or physical damage and maintenance for system-induced problems are excluded from this warranty; (6) Third party repairs; and (7) Failure to pay for any parts and work performed by Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC., other than that covered under this warranty, or for any goods shipped to Customer, which have outstanding balances due to Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. (8) Freight damage(s), contact your carrier for commercial resolution. (1) Freight/shipping charges. All Customer claims shall be F.O.B. Miami; (2) Loss of Revenue; (3) Units outside the warranty time limitations; and/or (4) Third party evaluations or repairs during the warranty period. (5) Freight damage(s), contact your carrier for commercial resolution. Cocoplum Aero Services, LLC. makes no other claim or further warranty, expressed, implied or statutory and hereby specifically disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose or use.
